Erwin Kosal Kristel is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Erwin Kosal Kristel. Mr. Kristel graduated from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2016. Immediately after law school, he became licensed to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana. He then briefly worked as a Legal Editorial Associate for O’Connor’s, a highly respected legal publisher in Texas. In December of 2017, Mr. Kristel left O’Connor’s to work as a Staff Attorney for the 15th Judicial District Public Defenders Office in Acadia Parish Louisiana, pursuing his passion for helping those in need. As a public defender, he gained ample court experience and developed his unique style of aggressive but compassionate representation. In July of 2019, Mr. Kristel left the Public Defenders Office and moved to Harris County, Texas to be closer to his family and to open his own practice. While Mr. Kristel still provides criminal defense services,he wanted the freedom to pursue justice in other areas of law.
